Chris's fascination with the evolution of fitness began when as the Captain of his high school varsity swim team. Achieving the development of muscle & strength safely, intentionally, and quickly became a key goal for him and his teammates. Even as he graduated from high school and headed to college, Chris found that his fascination with achieving peak physical capacity persisted, emerging as one of his truest passions.
This passion led Chris to pursue a career as a personal fitness coach in New Jersey starting in 2016, working with clients ranging in age, health history, and physical profile. Out of the many techniques, training methods, and coaching styles Chris was able to experiment with, no lesson rang as true as a phrase his first fitness mentor taught him: “No matter how old you are, no matter how much you weigh, how much or how little you lift compared to when you were younger, there is ALWAYS a pathway that leads to the healthiest, physically fit you.”
Chris brings that mentality every day into his position as a personal trainer and facility manager at The Perfect Workout, Alexandria. The world of Slow-Motion Strength Training provides the perfect setting, where intentional training and consistent tackling of goals go hand-in-hand. It is with great pride that he holds these positions, witnessing clients fight and achieve those goals every time they walk through the door.
Chris is also blessed to serve as a certified Restorative Justice Facilitator and Trainer, working to promote nonviolent communication, dialogue, and alternative dispute resolution in the greater DC area.
