The Perfect Workout®’s Time-Efficient Exercise Approach

20-minutes, twice per week

How Slow Motion Strength Training with the support and accountability of a personal trainer has transformed thousands of lives.

It’s a myth that you need hours in the gym.

Decades of research shows that the intensity of exercise matters more than the duration of exercise. With a proven approach, you can get better results in less time.

Intensity over duration

Achieving momentary muscle success is the key to getting real results. Intensity does not mean reckless. It simply means the rate of effort used for an exercise. More effort means better results.

Recoverability

That’s our fancy word for your body’s ability to bounce back after a workout. Too much time exercising can hinder your ability to recover and limit your results. More is not better, as long as the intensity is sufficient.

Perfect Execution

Slow-motion strength training emphasizes a controlled cadence, perfect form, and ideal exercise selection. This creates the optimal workout stimulus and eliminates unnecessary force on joints and ligaments. Exercise should never be dangerous or painful.

Support and accountability

Your certified personal trainer creates a tailored program for you and your goals, leaving the guesswork out. Their guidance and support ensure that every workout is effective, efficient, and safe.

A note on weight loss

Losing fat > losing weight

Weight loss can involve losing fat, but it can also include the loss of muscle, which we don’t want.

Muscle is denser than fat, meaning that when the scale shows a few pounds lost, it could indicate a loss of muscle mass as well.

At The Perfect Workout, our emphasis is on preserving and maintaining muscle to facilitate fat loss, rather than simply reducing overall body weight.

Consider the images below. The small white circle in the center of each thigh is the thigh bone. Surrounding the bone, you’ll notice the darker grey tissue, which signifies muscle tissue. The larger white circular section on the outside of the muscle tissue is fat tissue.

FAQ

This sounds too good to be true – Great results in 20 minutes, twice a week?

We understand the skepticism surrounding a 20-minute exercise routine. It goes against the grain of traditional beliefs.

The truth is, if you’re doing more exercise than needed, your workout may not be intense enough. With many traditional methods, a lot of time spent during your workout is “rest time.” More rest during a workout can reduce muscle growth and cardiovascular impact.

So you can either work hard during exercise, or you can work out for a long time – but you can’t do both. Intensity is key if you want to effectively boost your metabolism, improve VO2 max, and not only build lean muscle but support your skeletal health.

Our approach is not only unique, it’s grounded in research.

We train all major muscle groups through 5-8 exercises with minimal rest between sets. Our method and technology provide the perfect resistance for every exercise, eliminating virtually any risk of injury. So you’ll spend your sessions burning more fat and building more strength than traditional weight training.

But don’t take our word for it! Come in for your own free Introductory Session. Experience the methodology first-hand, without any obligation.

Slow-motion strength training is incredibly effective and easy to adapt, making it perfect for beginners. Our certified trainers will guide you every step of the way, tailoring the workouts to your pace. Whether you’re new to exercise or a seasoned fitness enthusiast, The Perfect Workout is designed for all experience levels.

When will I see results?

Many of our members notice positive changes within the first 6 weeks, and some even feel the benefits almost immediately.

Everyone’s body and goals are unique, so results can vary. Your progress will depend on how your body responds to the workouts, your nutrition, and how well you push yourself. Remember, everyone’s journey is different, and we’re here to support you every step of the way! Consistency is key, so keep going, and you’ll see the progress you’re looking for.

Will I get too big and bulky?

This is a common concern, but rest assured, the answer is no.

Slow-motion strength training helps you build lean muscle mass, which will tone your body and boost your metabolism to burn more fat. Since muscle is denser than fat, adding muscle and losing fat will actually make you leaner and firmer. So, you can enjoy the benefits without worrying about getting too bulky!

Are your trainers certified?

Absolutely! Our trainers go through a rigorous education process that sets us apart.

Unlike many other certifications, ours includes extensive hands-on training with real people. We ensure our trainers are highly skilled through numerous written and practical exams. Plus, every trainer is AED/CPR certified and continually updates their knowledge with ongoing education. You can trust you’re in good hands with our team at The Perfect Workout!
