Julia calls herself “The Jack of All Trades for Health.” She brings a wide variety of experience and education in both personal training, and nutrition to her clients at The Perfect Workout. Her passion for health and wellness began when she was a young teenager. Most physical activities were difficult for her because of severe asthma, but she didn’t let that stop her. She conquered a 10-hour hike at the age of 12 and has been helping others conquer their own health goals ever since.
Julia studied Health Education at California State University Long Beach, which helped her create the foundation for her health and fitness career. She began training her friends for fun and realized she had a gift for motivating and helping people achieve their fitness goals. Julia decided to apply her skills and knowledge outside of her social circle and began a personal training internship while also teaching hiking and holistic healing classes. After gaining years of experience, she decided she wanted to make a full-time career out of personal training. Shortly after, she was referred to The Perfect Workout by a friend who worked in the Huntington Beach Studio.
“My friend said she loved the ability to help people achieve their goals, and also the freedom in her schedule. I was ready to take the next leap in my career, and The Perfect Workout allowed me to do that.”
In 2014, Julia joined The Perfect Workout’s Orange County team and spent years working closely with clients in the Huntington Beach studio. Her favorite part about being a Personal Trainer at The Perfect Workout is the 1-on-1 experiences with her clients. “I enjoy getting to know the clients, and the reason for their goals. Everyone is so different, and getting to really know someone gives you so many more opportunities to help them.”
In 2018, Julia was selected to become a Facility Manager and transferred to the Redondo Beach studio where she and her team have been growing the studio and changing lives through health and fitness. Julia is very happy about her decision to take on a new role and transfer studios. “I enjoy my team. We are all different but that is one of the things that we enjoy about each other. We are always looking for different ways we can help each other grow.”
Julia enjoys leading a studio, where she can put her many talents and coaching abilities to use. “You are not only trying to achieve your own goals, but also the entire studio’s and company’s goals. I like having a reason to get things done. My goal is for the trainers to achieve their full potential and grow personally and professionally. I believe that if they are happy and fulfilled not only in their health careers, but personal lives, everything falls into place. “
When Julia is not training clients and sharing her favorite Vegan recipes in the studio, she is hiking and enjoying mother nature. “I love hiking! I enjoy living a healthy lifestyle and my ideas of fun are being outdoors, taking fitness classes, and just being free.” Julia also loves to explore Los Angeles; whether it be finding a hidden hiking spot, a new healthy restaurant, or a meditation center, she is the go-to-girl for Los Angeles activities.
Feeling stronger and happier than ever before, Julia is passionate about sharing her love for health education with her clients and strives to always help others improve their own lives. “My personal goals for the future are to see my own body continue to transform, and go back to school to get my Master’s Degree in the health field.”

Sean was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. He always stayed active by going on hikes and playing baseball and basketball. His passion for health and fitness started at the age of 10, when he was teased for being on the chubby side. Being bullied, however, was a blessing in disguise, because it motivated him to make positive changes to the course of his overall health and fitness.
He attended college at San Jose State University, and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Health Science. After graduating, Sean decided to move to Southern California for a new adventure.
Despite already working out, Sean was determined to get even stronger and healthier. He watched YouTube videos, worked with personal trainers at the gym, and learned from others with years of experience. He incorporated what he learned into his exercise routine.
His desire to constantly improve himself also helped him find the passion to help others with their fitness goals. When Sean was introduced to slow-motion strength training, he knew it was a game changer. “I love the feeling of complete muscle fatigue after doing a slow-motion strength training workout. This training method has allowed me to workout virtually pain-free compared to traditional workouts which always seem to cause injuries.”
When Sean found The Perfect Workout, he loved the mission and saw that his vision and the company’s values were identical. In early 2018, Sean joined the team as a Personal Trainer and has fallen in love with the method, the studio, the team, and his clients. “I really enjoy working with clients in a 1-on-1 setting. The personal time allows us to really focus and produce better results.” Sean likes how the semi-private facility allows him to tailor the workout to specific personal fitness and health goals. “I give them my full attention and it gives me the ability to provide specific solutions.”
One of Sean’s clients began at The Perfect Workout with low energy, was overweight, and struggled with self-confidence. After training consistently with Sean for about a year, he’s lost over 25 pounds, gained muscle mass and is much more confident.
Client successes make Sean’s role as a Personal Trainer incredibly gratifying and he looks forward to the many more people he will impact at The Perfect Workout. “I will always be in a career where I help people. I strongly believe that you pay kindness forward and life will reward you in the future.”

Nataly was born and raised in Los Angeles and knew that she wanted to be involved in health and fitness since she was very young. She participated in a variety of activities including ballet, yoga, running, tennis and cheer-leading, but she fell in love with the results from resistance training. Originally she thought she wanted to be a Physical Therapist but once she began learning more about exercise, she realized she was more interested in preventing the need for Physical Therapy. What better way to help others take care of their bodies and make them stronger than Personal Training!
Nataly went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology Exercise Science from Cal State Northridge. She applied those and other learnings to lose 40 pounds herself. Her personal training career was kickstarted by working with friends and family. This completely energized her and she felt hungry to help more people.
As Nataly continued to build her fitness knowledge she became aware of slow-motion training. When she decided to experience the workout under the tutelage of another Personal Trainer, she was floored. “When I first tried The Perfect Workout, I remember thinking it would be super easy because I had been training for years, but after the 20 minutes, I really felt it.” Nataly knew this was the perfect place for her to expand her training experience and impact on others.
Nataly became certified at The Perfect Workout and joined the Redondo Beach studio in 2017. Nataly has been a vital resource for her clients and she feels like she is truly helping others get healthier and happier. “Not only do I get to help change someone’s lifestyle for the better, but I get to know clients on deeper level and create amazing friendships. I find that in 1-on-1 sessions I can truly identify what areas need more work and what skills can be taken to the next level.”
One of Nataly’s clients, a two-time cancer survivor made incredible progress in building up her strength after chemotherapy. “She works hard every single time she’s in the studio and has been reaching major milestones. Before our sessions she had trouble carrying her groceries and getting in and out of her truck. Now she can do both. They may sound like small accomplishments but they are huge for her quality of life.”
Nataly continues to build her knowledge and is pursuing a certification from American College of Sports Medicine for Personal Training and Clinical Exercise. Her goal is to help create a healthy lifestyle for as many people as she can. “I have goals to continue my own education and in the future start working with children more. I believe healthy habits should start early so that the rest of their lives can be fruitful!”
